Abacus has released their PBY-5A Catalina as part of their Platinum Collection Series:
This week we introduced the newest member of our Platinum Series - the classic PBY-5A Catalina. This legendary aircraft distinguished itself as a reconnsaiance, transport, search and rescue and bomber for many allies during World War II. Later it took on a firefighting role.
In addition to the new Catalina the Platinum Series has these aircraft:
- Lockheed Constellation
- EA-6B Prowler
- DA40 TDI Diamond Star
- Aviat Husky
- Piaggio P180 Avanti
