AlphaSim releases Hawker Hunter

AlphaSim has released their first aircraft for 2008 - the Hawker Hunter:

New addition to the RAF/RN section - the Hawker Hunter ! Out of the blue, AlphaSim brings you a state of the art Hawker Hunter FS model set - no effort was spared to create the finest package of its kind. Featuring the single-seater variants F.6, F.6A. FGA.9 and Mk.58A in no less than eight texture sets, including the famous Swiss display scheme and both Black Arrows and Blue Diamonds RAF display liveries.

This product has it all, including full FSX (Acceleration Pack) compatibility with bump-mapping, self shadowing (in the v-c too with SP2) and bloom effects, a custom Hunter Avon sounds package, high-detail v-c and custom animations for the pilot figure, speedbrake and even the intake / engine covers and pitot warning tags can be displayed. Carefully-researched flight dynamics provide a very accurate Hunter sim experience, an illustrated panel guide in ‘Pilot’s Notes’ style provides all the cockpit information.

The external model recreates the classic Hunter shape perfectly, the textures are highly accurate and even feature custom alpha maps for optimum reflectivity in both sims, the source textures are provided for repainters to use (.psd’s). Pilot auto-movements and a correctly-animated ventral speedbrake (wheels-up use only), coupled with wingtip vortex, startup / exhaust smoke and turbine glow, all make for a highly authentic and enjoyable Hawker Hunter simulation.
