Apollo Software releases FS-AirMap
Apollo Software has released FS-AirMap, which they claim is the first moving map for Flight Simulator X and Flight Simulator 9. I’m not sure that’s precisely true, as Aerosoft released FSMap, which appears to do an almost identical thing, on the 17th of January.

APOLLO AirMap was alreday released in early 2007, a year before aerosofts product. The press release talks about an additional add-on, the UK charts for APOLLO AirMap which was released in 2008.
APOLLO AirMap has been reviewed in FlightXpress Magazine and on Simflight.de already in 2007. APOLLO AirMap is still the only moving map for FSX/Fs2004 that is fully integrated into the default Garmin GPS, therefore it does not require additional space in the crowded cockpit. APOLLO AirMap uses highest resolution digital charts, unsurpassed by any other moving map product for FSX/FS2004 and is the only product to offer charts for the UK, in addition to many other contries.
Thanks for the clarification.
Apollo Software have sent me this link to a review of their product from May 2007 - http://simflight.de/modules.php?name=News&file=article&sid=7634 - so please ignore my earlier comments about FSMap being released earlier.
