France VFR base pack released
France VFR have released their VFR FlightMediterranee base pack (see our previous post) and have issued the following press release:
We are proud to announce the last-born sceneries in France VFR’s ‘Flight’ Collection: the FlightMediterranee BasePack and AutogenPack .
These new sceneries of photorealistic images (FS9 and FSX compatible) complete perfectly other sceneries already commercialized of the FlightAlpesSud BasePack and the FlightRiviera BasePack, that allow you to soar from Monaco to Perpignan nearby the Pyrenees. It covers a large zone of 20 000 sq. Kilometres, contains 30 airports and more than 80 booklets of flight plans.
In completion with the sceneries mentioned above The FlightMediterranee BasePack allows you now to soar in complete VFR from Monaco to Perpignan, following the magnificent coast-line and the cities of the Mediterranean-sea like Marseille, Orange, as well as the back-country landscapes of the Lubéron, Alpilles and the Camargue.
FlightMediterranee AutogenPack is also available from now on a subscription basis. By definition, the immediate purchase will let you have about 40% of the complete coverage. Scenery will be completed every 2-3 weeks until the final delivery.
FlightPyrenees Oriental BasePack and Autogen will let you go even further. They will be released by end of July.

Is it just me,or, does it seem like there is more scenery made for Europe, England, etc., than is made for the U.S.? Come on developers! We would love to see some quality scenery packages for the good ol’ U.S.A.!! I do have MegaScenery,s Hawaii,Oahu package, and it is wonderful. And they do have some other great looking packages,(Arizona for instance), and then there is Cloud9’s Orlando…..wait, maybe it ain’t that bad! Maybe it is just me! Readers??

Well I’m not going to mention any names but some people labor under the opinion that North America doesn’t have much in the way of interesting features. I’ve yet to fly a VLJ through the Grand Canyon, examined Mount Rushmore in a Robinson, Searched Yellowstone Park for Yogi and Booboo in a Cessna …….
