The “FSX Update” is not an FSX update – it merely installs all the FS9 commands and checklists into FSX.
So, you get a load of new folders in SimObjects/Airplanes that are named after all the default aircraft in FS9 – and more, but only have a checklist inside them.
You can use the basic commands that are common to both versions of FS, but that’s it. Things like ‘Gear up’ etc work okay.
Otherwise, you have to write your own commands and checklists. To call it an “FSX upgrade” is, imho, grossly misleading.
Otherwise, it’s a fine piece of software ; )

Jay – it doesn’t say it’s an “FSX upgrade”, but “Now includes FSX”.
It does on your review page – which links to here.
Besides which – it still doesn’t include FSX – it includes FS9.
They said they would be providing ‘further’ updates to make it even more suited to FSX, as well – two years ago!
I just think it’s not right to promise something on a sale, that isn’t delivered when the customer receives the product. Why not just say that it includes a command set for FS9? Even say that it can be programmed by the user to work with FSX if required? That way, no-one is being misled and everyone knows what they’re getting.
I don’t see how this isn’t fraud – because it certainly doesn’t include an FSX command set and the only checklists applicable to FSX are those of aircraft in FS9 and FSX.
I went and downloaded the “FSX upgrade from eDimensional yesterday to make sure – and yep – still all FS9.

I’m not trying to be awkward, but which page exactly? The main announcement quotes “includes Flight Simulator X support”.
I’m just reporting the news here, but If the developers of the package haven’t updated it or it doesn’t work as advertised, then I think it would be best to contact them direct. I’d like to know the result so I can update this post if required.
