Just Flight P-38 due before Christmas
Just Flight have issued an announcement regarding their forthcoming P-38 Lightning:

Our P-38 Lightning package, developed by Aeroplane Heaven, is scheduled for release as a Download before Christmas, and the DVD-ROM version will be rolled out shortly afterwards.
One of the aircraft included in the package is the famous ‘Glacier Girl’, buried under Greenland ice for decades and now flying again. Just as we were working on getting the P-38 package ready for release earlier this month, we came across news of another long-lost Lightning, but rather closer to home this time.
A P-38 has surfaced on a beach near Harlech in North Wales, after more than 60 years, and has become visible as a result of the changing level of the beach. This particular plane, built in 1941, flew combat missions along the Dutch-Belgian coast, and the pilot was forced to make an emergency landing on the beach during a gunnery practice mission because of a fuel supply error.
There is no decision yet on how to recover the aircraft from the sand but, with only 27 Lightnings surviving, it seems certain that a full restoration project will be undertaken - the Imperial War Museum at Duxford and the RAF Museum have both expressed an interest.
See the BBC News website for more details on the discovered Lightning - and keep an eye on our our own News pages for the release date of the P-38 Lightning add-on package!
