VFR Flight Plans UK volume 1 now available
Just Flight have released volume 1 of their VFR Flight Plans UK - this looks like a fun way of getting the most from your VFR photographic scenery:
The first volume of VFR Flight Plans UK is available now. This add-on consists of a set of plans that cover nine interesting flights around South-East England and is available to download exclusively from our website at £12.99 / €19.95 / $24.99.
The user is provided with comprehensive information about each flight and this includes VFR maps, images of the waypoints on the route and a flight plan sheet with headings, times and distances. There are also files to install into FSX or FS2004 and pilots can follow the route using the GPS or display the VFR map on screen as they fly in FS2004.
VFR Flight Plans UK (Vol. 1) is compatible with Flight Simulator X and FS2004, and can also be used with Flight Simulator 2002 and X-Plane. We’d recommend using VFR Real Scenery Volume 1 (South East England) to get the best from this software, as all the flights in this new expansion are in an area included in this scenery package.

Hi there,
I gather that this product is to support there VFR packs, But I have Horizon sim uk scenery so would this work horizon sim scenery?
Also does anyone know if Horizon covers the Isle of Wight, If not can i use the Just flight scenery for the Isle of Wight as I gather it has a landable Heli pad on the Lighthouse.
I know horizon will be adding 3d objects and night scenery some time this century, but was just wondering if anyone can answer the above.

Hi Jason,
It’ll work with any scenery as it’s not scenery or indeed simulator dependent. The flight plans etc provided will work with any sim with accurate ground placement.
Not sure if the Horizon scenery covers the Isle of Wight, but you can mix scenery add-ons. Simply use the Scenery Manager in FS9/FSX to determine what gets shown.
