ScruffyDucks’s popular Airport Design Editor has been updated to version 1.35:
We have today released Version 1.35. If you have Version 1.30 then the automatic on-line updater should offer to get the patch installer for you. If you have automatic checking turned off then you will need to do a manual check. If you have version 1.20 to 1.25 then you will need to do a manual check to get the file.
This version is part of our continuing development and improvement program. In addition to fixing several bugs Version 1.35 adds new functionality including
- Helper shapes that can be placed and manipulated on the work area and used to make drawing curves, rectangles etc easier
- Inclusion and placement of user models (mdl files)
- Compile to one BGL or split the airport and scenery into separate BGL files
- One click conversion of helper shapes to aprons. (Making circular aprons is now a couple of seconds work )
- User adjustable color, brightness and separation of apron edge lights(with grateful thanks to Don Grovestine)
- Improved representative drawing of taxiway junctions
- Ability to straighten out a chain of taxiway links
- Improved validation of airline codes in parking spaces
- Airport Reference Point can now be re-positioned
I would just like to place on record my thanks to the development team (they know who they are) and all our users for supporting the program and helping us to make it more relevant to community needs.
This will be the last patch update in this series. It is intended that Version 1.40 will be a full release with an updated and consolidated manual.
