Angle of Attack has issued the following press release:
Angle of Attack supports World Flight Scotland’s fundraising efforts in aid of ORBIS and the Flying Eye Hospital
£2 from the sale of each Angle of Attack 767 Level D training DVD will be donated to ORBIS. This will help protect 2 mothers and 2 children from blinding trachoma in Ethiopia
Quote from ORBIS:
“We’re delighted that Angle of Attack has decided to support ORBIS by donating the postage price of all DVD sales. This will make a huge difference to the many mothers and children in Ethiopia who, as a result, will live free from the triple threat of pain, blindness and poverty that the eye disease trachoma brings.
Quote from Chris Palmer
“When I visited the UK last year for a Flight Simulation show, I was moved by what ORBIS is, what they represent, and the overall feeling I get when I am around their staff and supporters. I didn’t give a second thought to supporting this just charity. Could you imagine trying to fly without seeing? This isn’t an instrument approach, folks, this is full on blindness! For what seems like such a small amount to us, we can literally bring someone’s life back into focus. If you don’t grab a DVD, at least send a few dollars, pounds, yen or euros to ORBIS on their website.
Meet Chris at the Scottish Charity Flight Sim Show at the Holiday Inn Glasgow Airport on Sunday the 28th October 2007, where he will be demonstrating the soon to be released PMDG 747-400 training DVD.
The offer runs from the 6th September until Sunday the 11th November 2007, the end of World Flight 2007
