Beta testers for new AI project needed

by mark.avey on May 1, 2007

Just Flight are looking for beta testers for their upcoming Traffic X add-on. If you’re interested, head over to the site and get that email sent!

Would you like to help us with the Beta testing of a new FS add-on?

We are assembling a Beta team to evaluate and test a new AI sounds package that will be released as a standalone product for upgrading AI traffic, and may feature in the forthcoming Traffic X release.

Anyone who would like to be considered for a place on the team will need to be a user of Traffic 2005/Traffic in FSX, be willing to sign a NDA (non-disclosure agreement) and be over 18 years of age. You will also need to be able to dedicate several hours a week over several weeks to testing the software, including revisions based on feedback to the software.

A working knowledge of Flight Simulator and a good knowledge of the inner folder structure and .cfg file in FSX would be preferable. Because the software involves replacement sound files, a good ear and a methodical approach are required.

If you’d like to get involved, please e-mail Richard here at just Flight with your personal details, notes on any previous Beta testing experience you have (if any), which version of Traffic you use (Traffic 2005 updated via the patch or the newer Traffic release) and any other details you think may be relevant.

Many thanks - we look forward to hearing from you!
