CIM Flight Decks launches Boeing 737NG ProLine overhead panel

by mark.avey on June 14, 2007

CIM Flight Decks have issued the following press release regarding their latest product:

“CIM Flight Decks is presenting another new product in its series of panels for the Flight Simulator hobbyist.

This time it is the 737NG overhead panel of the ProLine panels, produced by CIM Flight decks in addition to the BasicLine products.

Now available in the CIM Flight Decks web shop is the luxury version of the exact replica of the Boeing 737NG overhead panel that was brought on the market as a BasicLine product by CIM Flight Decks last month. After there turned out to be a large demand for these panels, CIM Flight Decks started the ProLine. On top of the high quality you are used from CIM Flight Decks with the BasicLine panels, the ProLine panels are coated with an even more high-grade flat paint, giving a scratchproof result. The ProLine panels have rounded corners and are slightly thicker than the BasicLine.

Like the BasicLine products, the ProLine panels can of course easily be integrated and installed in the (self-built) CIM Flight Decks cockpit.

The Boeing 737NG ProLine overhead panel is available at the CIM Flight Decks web shop at the introduction price of 625 euro for the complete panel (excl. Tax and electronics). You also have the option to buy a separate forward or after panel.

You will find the web shop at: http://www.cimflightdecks.nl/shop.php

It’s always nice to see a new company entering the arena!

It must be a fairly restricted market if these are aimed at hobbyists I can’t see that many people willing or able to put together an entire 737 cockpit inside their house, let alone the expense. Still they must sell or there wouldn’t be a market for them, just wish I had that sort of money to burn :D

Well I can tell you from experience that while I am building a full size cockpit, I had to do away with a lot of things in order to do it. Heck, you could go spend $25,000.00 on a new Harley, (and wouldn’t I love that)! But this is a chance for me to build a ‘dream’! And when winter settles in, or it’s raining, that shiney new Harley is sitting in a garage, and I’m warm and cozy sitting in my cockpit flying to……

That’s a good point, Ken. I try and ride my Tiger all year, but inevitably there are some days it stays tucked in the garage and on those occasions it’s wasted.

I’m really looking forward to seeing some pictures of your new rig :)
