Scottish Charity Flight Sim Show 2007
World Flight Scotland has announced that the 2007 Scottish Charity Flight Sim show will take place on the 27th of October:
The event offers vendors and flightsim enthusiast the opportunity to come together in support of an extremely worth while cause, bringing friends together from around the world, for Scotland’s 1st flightsim show to mark the 25th anniversary of ORBIS and the Flying Eye hospital.
The event is unique with all proceeds going directly to ORBIS. Entry to the event is free of charge and all we ask is that you consider making a donation to ORBIS.
ORBIS is an international development organisation that works to eliminate avoidable blindness in developing countries where at least 90 percent of the blind and visually impaired reside. The World Health Organisation estimates that 37 million people worldwide are blind — 28 million unnecessarily.
Hosting the show in aid of this charity is a wonderful idea, so make a date in your diary. I shall endeavor to be there myself.
