Wings of Silver video

by mark.avey on February 27, 2008

GamersHell has posted a teaser video of Shockwave’s upcoming Wings of Silver.

It’ll be very interesting to see how well Shockwave have done with airliners. On the whole, their military aircraft are second to none.

Shockwave has released a new Wings of Silver trailer, showcasing this new product line for Microsoft Flight Simulator X. Wings of Silver will feature amazing aircraft starting with a classic piston-powered airliner. The trailer shows a glimpse of this new aircraft built on the very latest technology and boasting many ‘first time seen’ features that will be the hallmark of the new Wings of Silver product line.

D-Box/Voodoo/HP video

Blip.TV is hosting a video of a pretty impressive flight simulator set-up. Anyone got $20K they’d care to donate for testing purposes? :)

Hilarious FSX video

by mark.avey on January 12, 2008

I’m surprised I’ve not seen this before - it’s dated 2006, so pre-SP1/SP2 days, but check this very well done video out, expressing the author’s feelings about FSX :)

Warning - there’s some strong language on the subtitles…

Just Flight launches online video player

by mark.avey on November 3, 2007

This is a neat idea. Just Flight has launched an online, auto-updating video player so you can keep up-to-date with their latest releases:

Those of you who enjoy our product videos might like to download and install our Online Video Viewer. This handy piece of software, put together by the Technical Support team, automatically updates itself with any new streaming videos added to the website and lets you access and play them all in a dedicated viewer.

You can download the Viewer here (3.08Mb).

Simply run the .exe file and, once installed, you’ll see a desktop icon for the Viewer and the program also will appear in your Windows Start menu (under ‘Just Flight‘ in the ‘All programs’ list). You’ll now have instant access to all our recent streaming videos - and each time a new video is added to the website, it will appear automatically in the Viewer!

Each video also has a link to the corresponding product page.

We hope you like it - several new videos of forthcoming products are in the pipeline!
