AlphaSim updates B-36 Peacemaker

AlphaSim has updated both the Flight Simulator X and Flight Simulator 9 versions of this awesome looking aircraft:

Both the FS9 and FSX versions get a new model - the B-36B. This variant does not have the jet engines and has nose-mounted landing lights. The new B-36B model also wears a superb set of textures by Pierre Lheureux ! The new Zips are a free update, download the new Zips by logging into your personal download area in the Shop (the ‘My Downloads’ icon) and access the B-36’s download page by clicking a download link in your Recent Purchases section.

FlightSim Commander 8.2 released

FlightSim Commander is a professional flight planner, GPS, Moving Map and navigation tool for Flight Simulator 2004 and Flight Simulator X . Being a stand-alone program, FlightSim Commander can also be used in a network or with single-monitor or multi-monitor systems.

Version 8.2 has just been released and features the following enhancements:

  • New Help file structure compatible with Windows Vista
  • Display of SIDs and STARs on the main map
  • Flight plan creation from waypoint strings
  • Additional flight plan format for XML and iFly B747
  • Adding alternate airport
  • Many minor cosmetic changes

Service Pack 2a released for Level-D 767

Level-D have released Service Pack 2a for the Flight Simulator X version of their venerable 767:

You must already have Service Pack 1 installed (1.41) prior to installing this update. You can check your current version by running the Check for Updates feature in your Start/Programs/Flight One Software/Level-D 767-300 for FSX menu.

This update includes several fixes and enhancements that make it a required update for everyone. Even if you have Service Pack 2, you should upgrade to Service Pack 2a (1.42a).

CLS patches 2 products for SP2

Commercial Level Simulations has patched two of their products to enable them to run correctly in Flight Simulator X Service Pack 2.

CLS is pleased to release a small fix which makes the Business Jet compatible with FSX Sp2 and FSX Acceleration. You can find the patch in our download section or use this link.

Our A330/A340 product (note this is the A340-200/300) is now compatible with Acceleration and FSX Sp2. You can download this patch via our product files or use this link.

ImagineSim SP2 updates

ImagineSim has released a couple of updates for FSX SP2 users this week:

KCVG patch for FSX SP2

Ready now is a patch for Cincinnati customers using FSX with SP2. Follow the product updates link on the main KCVG page for the download.

KLGA now updated for FSX SP2

The third in our patches for FSX users with the SP2 upgrade from Microsoft installed. This time we have KLGA La Guardia ready and you can download it by following product updates on the KLGA page.
