Following their recent major update to version 2.0, OnCourse Software has released a patch to update Pro Flight Emulator to version 2.1, which includes the following changes:
- FIXED a small problem that allowed you to choose one of the new airlines as your call sign when selecting to use both the new and original voice sets. Obviously this cannot work as an original controller (voice set) would be unable to call you using a new airline name. This fix prevents you from selecting such a combination.
- ADDED the PDF version of the new V2 manual which was missed from the version 2.0 update
- FIXED a small problem which gave an error if setting the pilot voice in PFE options to ‘None’
- FIXED a problem causing an overflow error when Game Commader option was chosen
- FIXED a problem preventing PFE running on Vista 64. Users running Vista 64 need to download the separate update to apply to there system. Please see our support forum for more details.
- CORRECTED some typo’s in the PFE manual

Wilco Publishing has released update 1.1 for their Tower Simulator standalone product.
Bizarre as it may seem, you can only see a list of changes by registering on the forum! Why they don’t make it public knowledge, I don’t know. I’d have thought they would want potential customers (and existing ones) to know what they had improved.
I’ve tried signing up for the forum, but I’m still waiting for my confirmation. As soon as I get it (if!), I’ll post the changes.
You may be interested in our original post on the release here, as it has a number of comments from customers.

Aerosoft have released an update for their Hughes H-1B.

We just updated the H1 racer aircraft. This small update to version 1.01 changes a few things in the flight model to make pitch stability a bit more predictable (it remains a difficult aircraft to fly though). Also the extended failure model has been worked at so it creates more realistic failures. To understand them better a special status display is made so when you got a problem you can now see what the problem is. Get the update from the FAQs / Support section. The full version is now also updated to 1.01.
You can purchase the Hughes H-1B from the FlightSim Pilot Shop.
