A word about G2 Games
On the 13th December, 2007, Andrew Muir from G2 Games (I’m only mentioning their URL again so you know who to avoid) contacted me, offering me 3 prizes for a competition of my choice on the web site. I took him up on his generous offer and announced the competition here.
The competition closing date came and went, and I contacted G2 to provide them with the details of the winners so the prizes could be sent to them. I heard nothing and the winners received no prizes.
I left it a week or so, then contacted them again. Still nothing.
As of the date of this post, I’ve sent around 5 emails and they never even had the courtesy of replying.
I can only suggest, therefore, that you steer well clear of them. I don’t wish to be associated in any way with a company that offers prizes as a way of publicising themselves, only to never come up with the goods when the time comes.
I would like to publicly express my apologies to everyone that took part in the competition.
Rest assured that there WILL be more competitions soon (one to be announced very shortly), but this time the prizes will be donated by companies that I know to be trustworthy and will deliver promised prizes to the competition winners.
