Free flight simulator for Symbian mobile phones

by mark.avey on September 11, 2007

FreeflightIt‘s been an interesting week for new flight simulators. Earlier this week I commented on the “easter egg flight simulator discovered in the latest version of Google Earth. Now it’s the turn of mobile phones with the release of Freeflight 3D:

Freeflight is a 3D flight simulator for JAVA (j2me) compatible mobile phones. It will give you a chance to fly with four different aircraft over many landscapes. The 3D graphics take a lot of the phone’s resources, that’s why you need a powerful Symbian phone to have it running smoothly.

Handy for those spare moments when you’ve nothing better to do :)
