Space Shuttle Mission 2007 New Trailer, Missions Set and Price revealed

by mark.avey on December 15, 2007

We must be getting near release time, as Exciting Simulations has released a bunch of info relating to their upcoming sim. The price (at the bottom of the post) seems reasonable - not much more than a lot of add-ons for MSFS.

Exciting Simulations™ is delighted to announce that the new, official game trailer is online now and can be viewed at www.space-shuttle-mission.com or downloaded in full DVD resolution in the Downloads section of the site.

The Base Missions Set that will be available at launch time cover:

STS-1: Space Shuttle 1981 maiden flight

STS-8: Launch INSAT-1B + miscellaneous ops

STS-41C: Launch LDEF, repair "Solar Maximum" satellite, experiments

STS-26: Launch TDRS, Numerous experiments

STS-31: Hubble Deploy mission, experiments

STS-88: Kickoff ISS building by attaching Unity to Zarya, launch SAC-A

STS-96: ISS supply, launch STARSHINE

STS-103: Hubble repair mission

STS-121: ISS supply and maintenance mission

STS-116: ISS building, maintenance and resupply mission

STS-117: ISS building, maintenance and resupply mission

This initial set provides increasingly challenging missions while covering a wide and representative spectrum of routine STS activities.

We put a special emphasis on offering more recent missions involving ISS EVA, docking and construction. We believe that the STS ISS-related missions are the culmination of STS usefulness and flexibility and as such, we decided to allocate a higher portion of the Base Mission Set to ISS-related missions.

Exciting Simulations™ plans to periodically release new missions until the full historical STS missions set is complete.

Space Shuttle Mission 2007™ will be available by Christmas 2007, as a direct download from the official website at www.space-shuttle-mission.com and it will cost US$49.95.
