Carenado patches all aircraft to FSX
Carenado have announced specific aircraft patches to enable all of their excellent add-ons to run in FSX. For me, this is great news, as they have created what I consider to be some of the very best add-on aircraft ever created:
On March 1st, 2007 Carenado announced that since today every of its aircrafts includes a specific patch that makes each aircraft compatible with FSX. This means, adds thumbnails and some spectacular angles from the outside view.
In addition, patches are available for every Carenado’s customer at www.carenado.com in the “Update and patches section.
These specific patches are the only ones needed in order to run a Carenado’s aircraft in FSX without any problem.
The only aircraft that not has a patch is our Piper Cherokee, which will be re launched in a couple of week more with enhances features and at a new price.
Note:
-Every patch only makes every Carenado’s aircraft compatible with FSX, but do not allow them use new FSX features like dynamic shadows for example.

can you get the VC gauges to work?
for some reason they don’t work with any of my updates…
do I need the gauge files in the panel folder for the airplane or in the main gauges folder?
I’ve only tried it with their Mentor so far, and it worked perfectly, including the gauges. I don’t know if it made any difference, but I did a clean install of the aircraft to my FSX directory first, then ran the patch. I’ll try some of their other aircraft and report back.
