iFly 747-400 freeware released
iFly, creators of the tremendously popular freeware 747-400 for Flight Simulator 9, have released their Flight Simulator X version, which you can download from the Avsim library.
Looking through the documentation, it’s apparent that this is one of the most highly detailed freeware offerings yet for Flight Simulator X. Features include:
- Extreme detailed cockpit
- Fully simulated FMC
- Complete TCAS simulation with audio-visual Traffic Advisory and Resolution Advisory system
- Fully simulated Inertial Reference System
- 90% of 3D fully operational buttons in VC mode
- Performance friendly (given user to pick suitable cockpit configuration for better performance)
- Comes with seven liveries
- Operations Manual with 330 pages
This is sure to be a hit amongst the “Heavy” fans, especially with no sign of the PMDG Queen of the Skies.
