Iris has released their F-20 Tigershark for Flight Simulator X.

iris f-20 tigershark

You sit down at the computer and start up FSX. Next thing you know your in the virtual seat of the new Iris Simulations F20 Tigershark. You’ve been briefed for a standard test flight which you feel will be anything but ’standard’. Opening the F-20’s unique Ordnance Manager, you customize your F-20C to carry the ordnance YOU select, pylon by pylon and finally you’re set. In the cockpit you busy yourself going through the detailed pre-flight procedures ensuring all the required systems are online and functional prior to starting the F-20C’s Jet Fuel Starter and powering up the General Electric F404 Engine capable of supplying 18,000 lbs of thrust on your command!

Brakes on, throttles forward, check your dials…everything in the green??

BRAKES OFF GO!

Your heart pounds as your thrown back in your seat. As the afterburner kicks in you rocket down the runway gathering speed faster than in any fighter you’ve ever flown. You pull gently back on the stick and soon your looking into the deep blue of pure sky as the plane climbs at almost a thousand feet a second!

At 55000 feet you push forward on the stick and level out, banking to the left as the plane floats in the rarest of atmospheres like a leaf. Then gently you ease the stick to the left rolling you inverted as you apply backpressure and the plane quietly, gently banks into the fastest dive you could ever imagine. Slamming the throttle you fly back in the seat as the ground and trees below rush up at you. Then you pull back on the stick as the flight computer adjusts the flaps to give you optimal performance as you pull out of the dive and aim your nose at the lowest bridge in the bay. You know your gonna make it, and at 1400 knots you dart under the bridge with only three feet between you and the water.

You land, your hands shaking, your heart pounding, your breathing labored. You’ve just ridden a tiger and realized you’ve finally met your match. The IRIS Premier Range F-20C and D Tigersharks. Based on figures of the F-20 prototypes publicly available information and tested by a team of dedicated people with the sole aim of providing you with THE premier fast jet for FSX!
