Just Flight releases Rescue Pilot Mission Pack demo

by mark.avey on November 7, 2007

Just Flight has released a complete mission from their forthcoming Rescue Pilot Mission Pack.

There is now a complete flyable demo mission from our forthcoming Rescue Pilot Mission Pack add-on for FSX.

FlightSim.com’s Nigel Martin has flown the demo mission and commented in his preview: “I will be queuing up for this release! I will see you there! In fact I will be first in the queue.” (You can read his full review of the demo here.)

Download the demo mission (41Mb) here.

The final release version of Rescue Pilot will be available on both DVD-ROM and as a Download, priced at £19.99/€29.95/$39.99, and will include twelve authentic missions, with realistic ATC, convincing scenarios and a custom set of rescue aircraft liveries.

To celebrate the imminent release of this new add-on, developed in-house at Just Flight, we’re running a competition to find the best screenshot taken during the mission. It couldn’t be easier to enter - just e-mail your screenshot(s) - a maximum of two per day - to rescuepilotcomp@justflight.com and the Just Flight crew will judge which is the best out of all those received.

The competition is open from today until November 30th and we’ll announce the winner in early December. First prize is a copy of the full Rescue Pilot package plus the winner’s choice of one other product published by Just Flight.

What’s more, the winning screenshot will be seen on the shelves of retailers around the world - we’ll use the winning screenshot as part of the artwork on the back of the DVD box!

The three runners up will receive a copy of Rescue Pilot.

We know you’re a talented bunch of aerial artists, so we’re looking forward to seeing your images!

The Competition Rules can be found here.

Glitch in the demo? Even after landing “on the dot” at the crash site, it never detected the proximity, 20-minute timer kept ticking and never gave the next mission objective.
