You can now watch the official trailer for Flight Simulator X: Acceleration on the FSInsider web site (Update: it’s now on YouTube and embedded below).
I’m pleased they’ve released this. There appear to be a lot of videos out there that are from various early stages of development and I’m guessing things have changes since they were recorded.
It does look good fun, I must admit

Great Trailer!! Got my adrenalin flowin’! Hope my frame rate is as good as the trailer. Does look like great fun. I can’t remember the last time Microsoft released an add-on for FS. Mark?

So anyone willing to guess what it adds that FSX doesn’t already have? Some new models perhaps and another multiplayer mode to try, anything else ?????

I think it’s being sold as an “expansion”, rather than an “enhancement”, so I don’t think people will be expecting anything new as such. I don’t know what the price is going to be, but 3 aircraft and a bunch of missions is not an insignificant addition.

It got a E-10 rating for mild violance. Maby we’ll see som fighter action with the Hornet.

Interesting. If so, there must be some major coding changes in there, as there’s no weapons systems support - unless it’s hidden
