RealAir FSX Spitfire update

by mark.avey on September 11, 2007

RealAir has issued the following update regarding their forthcoming Spitfire for Flight Simulator X:

Work continues on the FSX version of our Spitfire. This new version will include many new features made possible by FSX such as specular mapping and bump mapping on the exterior and in the VC plus out trademark 3D gauges.

Aside from these new features, and without giving too much away, fans of the classic Spitfire will have a few more reasons to get excited! More info and screenshots will follow shortly.

As a registered owner of the Flight Simulator 9 version, I’m really looking forward to this. It’s probably the add-on I’ve had the most fun with in FS9.
