Scotflight for FSX: Vol 1 - Highlands & Islands
Volume 1 of Scotflight for FSX is now available:
With Scotflight for FSX: Highlands & Islands, the best of this beautiful and remote part of the world is now available in FSX. You can fly from one of the many small commercial airports or island grass strips in the area, from Unst in the far North of Shetland to Islay in the South West, or to the remote isolation of St Kilda heliport far out in the Atlantic.
Don’t feel that you need be alone in your explorations. A host of other features bring the landscape around and between airports to life, so you can let your imagination run wild in a land steeped in history and tradition, or explore a world brought sharply up to date in places with the demands of the oil industry.
With moving road traffic plus ships, ferries, boats and yachts in harbours, sea routes, lochs and Scotland’s two most famous canals (The Caledonian and the Crinan Canal) you can relive holiday memories and explore future destinations in all the graphic detail that FSX provides. The scenery also includes a complete redraw of the coastline of the whole of Scotland to improve even further on the enhanced coastline already provided with FSX, and to add many of the sandy beaches so characteristic of this beautiful part of the world.
This looks to be a good value package, available for download for only £15.99 direct from the Visual Flight web site.
