SimFlyer has announced an update to their Series X range of products for Flight Simulator X. The range comprises of 3 packages:
The GNS-SX SR2 w/TCAS combines the Garmin GNS430 & GNS530 GPS units - integrating them into a full stack - including the GMA340 & PMA8000 Audio Panels, GTX330 & 320 Transponders.
Our unique “Panel Friendly Icons” gives you a quick and easy way to setup and access the avionics in any FS9 or FSX aircraft. These icons are small enough to stay out of the way yet large enough to use easily. They are also resizeable so you can customise your panel to fit your own style!
The GMX-SX SR2 w/TCAS combines the Garmin GMX200 and the GNS480 - integrating them into a full stack - including both the GMA340 and PMA8000 Audio Panels, SL40 Transceiver (as a secondary Com unit) as well as the GTX330 & 320 Transponders, this package is highly functional and very versatile.
With its advanced features, larger display and integrated COM, NAV/VOR and XPDR (transponder) the GNS480 is Garmin’s finest navigation system. When paired with the GMX200 multi-function display - which offers a display area of nearly 4 times the size of the GNS480 - you have one awesome combination!
The GPX-SX SR2 w/TCAS includes the KMD550, KLN89, KLN90, KLN94 and KLX135 GPS units along with a full Bendix-King radio stack including the traditional Bendix KX155 Nav/Com Units, audio panel, transponder and matching ADF and DME units. Also a KFC225 Autopilot is included and to to finish off the stack we are offering replacement Bendix VOR heads.
Additional features have been implemented, making the product more functional and realistic when compared to their real world counterparts. While still considered a “Gaming Product” these units will look, feel and respond well within the sim.
