The FlightSim Pilot Shop is taking pre-orders for the new Saitek Pro Flight Switch Panel.
Pre-Order now to reserve your unit before the first run sells out! As with the Saitek Yoke System, initially quantities are limited and sell out fast. Units are available first come, first serve and your credit card will not be charged until the item ships. Starts shipping in late October.
As part of Saitek’s continuing expansion of its Pro Flight range, the Switch Panel adds value and realism to a flight simulation setup.
Feel like a real pilot with realistic, clearly labelled controls in easy reach. A selection of realistic switches to mimic cockpit controls for flight simulation.
A set of switches for use in controlling various aspects of a flight simulation.
- Engine on/off
- Landing Gear
- A large selection of cockpit controls
- Works with Microsoft Flight Simulator X
- LEDs for Landing Gear match the status in the game - if a landing gear strut fails, this is indicated on the panel
- All switch labeling is backlit to ensure easy reading of controls during late-night simulation sessions

‘All switch labeling is backlit’ - this is not correct. At least for the one I bought, landing gear LEDs are the only visible light efects. Sorry!

that’s my question too. Does it work with FSX or does it work ONLY with FSX ?

The Saitek web site (http://www.saitek.com/uk/prod/pfpanel.htm) only mentions FSX. Has anyone tried it with any other sim?

Tried it with Flight Gear, the open source free simulator and it does not work. Doesn’t even recognize or see it. Mine has no backlit switches either and I just got it. Perhaps a change to the first batch?
