Imagine Simulation has released KIAD Washington Dulles airport for Flight Simulator 2004.

Dulles airport occupies approximately 13,500 acres (54 km²) of land. The main terminal, designed by Eero Saarinen, is one of the most recognizable airport buildings in the world. You will find right across the Dulles airport land area literally thousands of objects created with incredible accuracy and placed with the aid of pin-point satellite photography.
The airport features custom made runways, terminal buildings rendered to 5cm per pixel scale, an interactive docking system to park you right on your mark, taxiways with highly realistic concrete textures, full airport taxiway and runway signage, 3D approach lighting and full ILS navigation. There are hundreds of airport vehicles and ground personnel, aircraft can be found parked at custom textured parking positions, all hangers, cargo and airport auxiliary buildings are modelled, there is even a perimeter fence - all under the steady gaze of intermittently placed security cameras!
In addition to all of this, KIAD looks stunning after dark with beautifully lit buildings and parking areas. Complete airport taxiway and runway lighting is also included.

Providenciales: It’s warm, it’s colorful, it’s Caribbean jewel from TropicalSim.

FranceVFR has released their regional airport Brest Guipavas (LFBR) for Flight Simulator X.

This is the 3rd pane of France VFR’s new series of Regional Airport in Ultra-High-definition (25cm/pixel).
The scenery is developed by using extremely detailed techniques including building textures, high-definition ground textures and the corresponding night textures. This scenery is FSX native and its FS2004 version will be soon commercialized.
France VFR emphasises the difference between the previously developed airports: Since Toussus and Lille Airport releases, including Brest as well, these sceneries are entirely realized in high-definition and conform to new airport design concept charts.
Brest Guipavas Airport is a stand-alone product and will be entirely compatible with Bretagne scenery (upcoming regional scenery) and fully compatible with any Mesh of your choice. Charts SIA - VAC - IAC - ARRDEP are provided just as specific near-by road-traffic and animation of different airport vehicles.Brest Guipavas Airport: extremely detailed airport with its surrounding.
Details
- Photo-real ultra-high definition (25cm/pixel) ground and buildings textures including night textures.
- Specific Autogen included for the entire zone of 50km²
- Stand-alone product: can be used on its own, or embedded in the Nord Pas de Calais VFR scenery without any modification
- Specific nearby road-traffic and animation of different airport vehicles.
- Alternative version with the animated jetway (airbridge)
- Independent conception of Mesh (all Mesh are compatible)Charts SIA - VAC - IAC - ARRDEP are provided

By default, the small general aviation airports that dot the landscape are often the most poorly represented in Microsoft Flight Simulator. And by our opinion, by far one of the worst is Stanly County Airport (identifier KVUJ).

Before using this scenery, load Flight Simulator and look at the default rendition of the airport. Note especially the layout of the taxiways (representative of what the airport looked like a decade ago or more), and the location of the control tower. In the real world, this airport is a beautiful, modern facility located in a beautiful, modern community with amazing local scenery. This package has attempted to capture the real look and feel of one of the First in Flight state’s greatest airports.
This is the Stanly County Airport (KVUJ) for Flight Simulator X! The Stanly County Airport is located right outside of Albemarle, North Carolina, in the central part of the state. The airport is a joint use facility between civilian aviation and the North Carolina Air National Guard, which uses the airport as a training center for the 118th Air Support Operations Squadron, and the 145th Airlift Wing out of Charlotte-Douglas International Airport, whose emblem is marked on the air traffic control tower at Stanly County. The tower is staffed by the 235th Air Traffic Control Squadron.
KVUJ is equipped with two parallel runways, the main runway being 4R/22L at 5,500×100ft. , and the smaller 4L/22R, at 3,500×75ft. , and used primarily by NC Air National Guard C-130s. The airport is home to a county operated FBO, aircraft maintenance, and turbine repair facility.

Another busy week for Aerosoft! Their 2 latest releases are a couple of highly detailed airports.
Mega Airport Paris Charles de Gaulle

Mega Airport Paris Charles de Gaulle is a fully featured, total rebuild of the previous versions. It is build on very recent high definition areal images and includes the new Air France terminal and the A380 hangars. The FS2004 version is now available and customers of the older France 2 or Charles de Gaulle will get a low cost upgrade! The FSX version will be available in a few weeks and will be made available without cost for customers of this version.
Madeira X

It’s a big download (1,2 Gb) but when it is installed you are ready to explore the most stunning scenery in FSX. Madeira X has very high detailed mesh covered with the 50 centimeter area images. So you understand the islands look amazing and you will be pleasantly surprised with the very smooth frame rates. The two main airports are also rather special, especially Funchal that is partly build on a manmade platform over the Atlantic Ocean. This Aerosoft internal scenery development shows the strength of our Aerosoft development department!
