PRE-Flight have released another free model for their simulator, the Marine One Sea King.

Helicopter builder Sikorsky built the Sea King in 1957, beginning a long career as a submarine hunter-killer, then diversifying into search and rescue, as well as executive transport. Designated the SH-3, the Sea King was designed for shipboard operation with folding rotor blades, as well as amphibious operation. Weapons capability was equally diverse, from torpedoes and missiles, to sonobouys for sub hunting.
The Sea King was always deployed as the first aicraft in the air and the last to land as a plane guard and pilot recovery vehicle. It is now famously known as Marine One when the US President is actually aboard.

This super scale PRE-Flight model of the Sea King has a five-bladed rotor, operating landing gear, and Presidential Marine One livery.

This model is for PRE-Flight version 2.10 and higher.

Nemeth Designs has released their BO 105 Helicopter for Flight Simulator X.

The Bo 105 is a light utility helicopter system recognized around the globe for its versatility, performance and safety record. It serves in a military and civilian capacity in nations throughout the world, providing the ability to operate in many guises.

The protorype flew in 1967, achieving full operational status by 1970. The cabin allows for a crew of two, plus three passengers and two medical litters in the medevac role. A series of two Allison-brand engines have powered most of the series, driving a four-blade main rotor system along with a two blade tail rotor. Visibility out of the cockpit is very good and several variants lengthen the cabin size, offering up more windows for improved visibility and additional storage/passenger seating space.

AlphaSim have released version 1.10 of their AH-64D Apache Longbow for Flight Simulator X.

Some minor loadout fixes and extra variants have been added to the FSX package, which now includes ELEVEN mdl’s. PLUS - in deference to several long-time AlphaSim customers, we have included an FS2004 version of the AH-64D. All the variants of the v.1.10 FSX package are included, the only ommission is the gunners cockpit in the v-c and some of the weapons loadouts are slightly reduced.

The new files are a free update to existing owners of the AH-64D, download them by logging into your personal download area in the Shop (the ‘My Downloads’ icon) and access the Apache’’s download page by clicking a download link in your Recent Purchases section. This will use up a download, so just mail us if you need more. Please include your order number in the e-mail.

AlphaSim have released their AH-64D Apache Longbow for Flight Simulator X.

This amazing FSX package features Apaches from the US, Netherlands and Great Britain, each with customised textures and weapons loadouts.

All the great FSX features from our original AH-64A package are included, with the addition of custom-made MFD screens and a superb sounds package by TSS. AlphaSim’s ‘RealGauge’ is also used in the v-c, providing super-smooth FPS.
