X-Plane 9 running on Linux

There’s an interesting article on the Phoronix web site regarding running X-Plane 9 (Beta 18) on a Linux machine with an ATI graphics card. After some initial problems, mainly related to the rendering of water with the ATI card, their conclusion is that "it pretty much just works". So, all you Linux owners out there, go get yourself simming now :)
